Lands of farm enterprise "Kavkaz" are placed at the rare area. Fields yielding grain crops, vineyards plantations are located in the valleys and foothills close to the Black Sea, encircled with relict woods. Soil and climate conditions are very favourable for growing grapes: a lot of sunshine, stony soils, good air draught of the rows, sea freshness-all that contribute to the good sugar consistence in the vine and low-rate acidity. This Anapa area is similar to that in Bordeaux province of France in viticulture.

Since 2002 we launched a new graft complex to have 800 grafts a year. Program of viticulture development taken at arms in "Kavkaz" implies vine plantations expending to the 650 ha. Vine production is profitable business. Agronomic department of farm enterprise "Kavkaz" with the Peter Romanov in the head ranks the best in Anapa district.
